Florida is one of the top vacation destinations in the world. Florida has a lot of cities, and it can be hard to decide which city you want to visit. Each city has something different to offer to visitors and locals. Here are a few reasons to give Daytona Beach a try on your next vacation.

Daytona Beach is a Florida city with the best music festivals. It is known as the “festival capital of Florida.” It gets its name because it offers festivals all year around. A few festivals that are coming up this summer are National Flip Flop Day, Reggae and Island Music Festival, Daytona Flee and Farmers Market, Hippiefest, and Wednesday Yoga in the Gallery.

Daytona Beach has 23 miles of white sand and tides for the guests to enjoy 24/7 and free of cost. It is known as the “world’s most famous beach,” and it is also very family friendly. At Daytona Beach, guests get to enjoy water sports such as surfing, paddle boarding, and parasailing. Daytona Beach is also the only beach that allows you to drive cars on it.

Daytona Beach is home to the Daytona International Speedway. Racing started in Daytona Beach in 1959 and is now home to the Daytona 500, a huge NASCAR race. Daytona International Speedway hosts a lot of other events such as ARCA Racing series and the AMA Motocross.

Daytona Beach Boardwalk offers food, shops, and carnival like rides that are indoor and outdoor. Guests also enjoy fireworks every Saturday night and might be able to catch a free concert as well. For this year, it is said that there will be a Fleetwood Mac, an Elton John, an Eagles, and a Kiss tribute concerts. The dates for the performances are listed here.

Daytona Beach is also the home to Beach Street, a well known shopping area. Even though Beach Street offers riverfront shopping, it also offers more than that. At Beach Street, guests can enjoy festivals, farmer’s market, and other activities. Beach Street is a great location to taste what Daytona Beach is like.

Daytona Beach is the best family vacation spot because there are a lot of things for your kids to do. You and your family can enjoy all of the things listed above that Daytona Beach has to offer together. You can also visit the Marine Science Center, a museum that offers marine life related activities, and Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, which is Florida’s tallest light house.
